This was cool. Obviously there is a lot they aren’t showing you but there was a lot I didn’t know about.

I watched this a few days ago (yesterday?) and very much enjoyed it. It’s cool to see how “normal” a lot of the switch gear is.

One of the things I enjoy about DCS is how in depth the cockpits are detailed. Not sure if theres an up to date F15 tour but Ive really enjoyed the F18 and F14 cockpits.

And on the other end of the spectrum there’s the F-35's panoramic MFD :
“Greetings, Starfight er!”

And not a single steam gauge to be found. Not even a compass.

This was built at the same time as the K5 Blazer

And this baby was built at the same time as the Kaiser Henry J, the longevity of modern military hardware is pretty impressive.

Look at all that expensive shit to break.

Eh, one big MFD should be harder to break than a bunch of instruments and displays. That one probably costs about the same as a Bugatti or McL aren, has it s own battery back-up in addition to the F-35's APU, and is probably ruggedized against everything up to and including an EMP from a nuke.
